Above the village Jašunje, 13 km on the northeast from Leskovac is situated male monastery of St John the Baptist. Andronicus Kantakuzen built it in 1517. The facade is built of alternate layers of dressed stone and the brick. It is a unique pearl among 16th century monuments.

The monastery is a single-nave building with narthex and semicircular vault and altar apse semicircular within and without. The frescos are very good. On the ceiling of the roofed porch is a huge composition of Judgment day.
