Other information
Send this page to:

It is situated in the north of Zviška valley, at the foot of the Zviška mountains and at the opposite end of municipal territory in relation to Ceremošnja cave and Ravništarka cave. It is located in the area of picturesque village Duboka after which it was named. Dubočka cave consists of channels through which Ponorska river flows periodically.

Speleology system of the cave consists of three parts: main channel, clay channel and rusaljka`s channel.

Each unit consists of several channels. The channels are real challenge for speleology fans because cave ornaments are located in remote channels, which can be reached only with proper caving equipment.

Dubočka cave was the habitat of Neolithic man. Bones of cave bears, Deinotherium teeth, bone needles and other human tools were found in the cave.
