On the highway road to Majdanpek, 6 km east from Kučevo, in village Neresnica, is located summer house of King Aleksandar the First Karađorđević.

The summer house is situated in vivid surroundings, at foot of the Homolje mountains, some hundred meters away from the golden river Pek. In the surrounding area, five clear mountain streams flows in Pek river (Dubočka river, Gložana, Komša, Bukovska and Ševička rivers). Each of them winding through wonderful valleys gives special charm to the environment. It spreads on the area of approximately two hectares.

Unfortunately, the Royal Summer House has been dilapidating for decades, since it doesn’t have adequate maintenance.
